Two hours before today’s preliminary hearing was scheduled to begin, Brown pleaded guilty to one count of felony assault. As part of the deal, Brown will be sentenced to five years of supervised probation, domestic violence counseling, and six months of community labor (1,400 hours of trash picup, graffiti removal, etc.).
Since I started this site just over four months ago, I have struggled with how we can establish a community of people committed to the same vision. The folks at Barbados Free Press showed me how. I am ever so grateful to them.
