Gov. Jay Inslee (D-WA)

I reluctantly endorsed Gov. Jay Inslee in 2012.  He’ll get my vote this year, but he won’t get my support or endorsement.  He has failed to address the rampant, systemic dysfunctions at DSHS and is absolutely tone deaf on Washington’s abysmal record on mental health.  Our jails are full because people with critical mental health issues aren’t getting the help they desperately need and deserve.

Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA)

Sen. Patty Murray got my endorsement in 2010, but I’m done with her grandstanding rhetoric which isn’t backed up with an ability to deliver.  She has enormous power in the Senate and within the Democratic party.  Sadly, she has no clue how to use this clout.  She’ll get my vote, but she too won’t be getting my support or endorsement.

There are other Democrats on the ballot who have previously gotten my enthusiastic support and endorsement.  They won’t be seeing me this year either.  While I like them tremendously as individuals, I am beyond disappointed that they have failed me personally.
