She’s called V now. In 2009, I launched my humble blog on V-Day to honor Eve Ensler’s global quest to end violence against women. I never dreamed that V-Day would morph into One Billion Rising, Eve would become my mentor, or that nearly 1 million people from every country on the planet would visit Navigating Uncharted Waters.

It boggles my mind that people are still reading posts that I published in 2009 and that people continue to visit despite my retirement and exceedingly infrequent posts. Thank you. Bless you all!

A lot has happened in those 15 years. The judge and my mother are dead as are most of the men who sexually harassed me. Karma wasn’t kind to any of them at the ends of their lives.

Most of my posts now are book reviews which y’all seem to enjoy.
