30 Days to Less Stress

Do you subconsciously hold your breath when you are stressed out?  I do.

April is National Stress Awareness Month.  Who knew?  Oprah has a guru, Martin Boroson, on her website who is promoting Transform Stress in 30 Days with One-Moment Meditation® with his new book One-Moment Meditation: Stillness for People on the Go.

Our lives get put on hold dozens of times each day.  We wait in line at the post office.  We wait for something to download on our computers.  We wait at traffic lights.  We get put on hold during phone conversations.  We wait for the microwave to nuke food and beverages.  We stand in line at the grocery store.

Mr. Boroson’s first tip is that we use those moments when our lives are on hold to breathe deeply ~ to engage in a one minute meditation.

  1. Hi there Anne,
Just stumbled across your site and wanted to leave a note to say hi. What an amazing online sanctuary you have created here! From the moment I arrived I felt embraced by warmth and inspiration. The perfect way to start my day (it is still morning here in Australia).
Thank you for your commitment to survivors. I’m looking forward to reading more from you.

  2. Ali, you’ve made my day! Thank you so much for visiting and leaving a comment.

I’ve added your site to my survivor’s blog roll.

One of my writing buddies is living part-time in Australia, and another officially became a Kiwi.

    Sending hugs,
