Saving Promise founder L.Y. Marlow has been asked to join Newark, New Jersey Mayor Corey A. Booker and His Holiness the Dalai Lama as a speaker at the Newark Peace Education Summit: The Power of Nonviolence. Ms. Marlow will be speaking on May 14, 2011 at 10:30 AM at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark.
Other speakers include Deepak Chopra, Goldie Hawn, and Marianne Williamson. The conference will be from May 13-15.
Ms. Marlow is also the award-winning author of Color Me Butterfly.
