Tyler Perry has garnered the most ~ 19 ~ NAACP Award nominations this year.  Bravo!

The 42nd NAACP Image Awards will be broadcast tonight on Fox at 8:00 P.S.T.

The movie version of Madea’s Big Happy Family will be released on April 22.

Update:  Tyler Perry garnered three wins tonight for his iconic movie For Colored Girls:  best picture, best director, and best supporting actress (Kimberly Elise).  Every actress in the supporting actress category was nominated for her role in a Tyler Perry film.  His television show House of Payne also won.  Bravo, Tyler Perry!  Bravo!
