Purple Haze Lavender
Sequim, WA is on the Kitsap Penninsula along the Strait of San Juan de Fuca. The climate is very similar to Provence which makes it ideal for growing lavender. If you’ve bought lavender at Whole Foods, it probably came from the fields at Purple Haze Lavender Farm. You might have also seen them on HGTV or in Sunset Magazine.
Since my arrival in Washington State in 1999, I have dreamed of going to Sequim’s Lavendar Festival. This weekend I finally went.
On the way home, I discovered where I want to live. . .my soul’s home. Yes, folks, that’s an eagle posing perfectly with Mt. Baker in the background.
Wow, great shots. I can understand your thinking on where you want to live…
