Artist’s Date: Edmonds, WA’s Waterfront Festival
Hawaiian Chieftan
The Hawaiian Chieftan and the Lady Washington have been guests at the Edmonds, WA Yacht Club during Edmonds’ Waterfront Festival. The tall ships offered cruises and “battles” in Puget Sound to visitors.
I was fortunate to have my camera with me Saturday evening at sunset on Marina Park Beach as the Lady Washington was sailing into port.
I was also thrilled to capture this black lab playing in the surf at the off-leash dog park. Puget Sound doesn’t typically generate many waves crashing upon the shore.

What an enchanting sight we shared watching the silhouetted magnificence of the Lady Washington as the sun said so long.
