My dream is to meet Tina Turner. The only way I can think to penetrate the layers of folks surrounding her would be via the DV shelter she has funded in her hometown ~ Nutbush, TN ~ the town has a new name.

I’ll also encourage you to try to contact Mary J. Blige, who funds a center in Yonkers, NY. They say she goes there often to speak to survivors.

Is there a regular mail address where I might write to her I am the moderator of an abused survivors’ group and have been working like a Trojan for 15 years to get the message out there regarding verbal abuse (so rarely recognized nor understood). I’ve been on 2 radio stations and may be on FOX News; my ultimate goal is Oprah.

My memoir: Ghost Child to Triumph (from a child with no voice, to someone who speaks up against injustice) is in the process of publication. I cannot believe my endorsements: Elie Weisel, Dr. Larry Dossey, Clint Van Zandt, Alice Miller, Wayne Dyer, Nikki Giovanni, (14 in all).
